moving list to virtual domain

I have a [EMAIL PROTECTED] ezmlm mailing list in
/home/joe/joe-info/ which is currently being hosted as a real domain.  I
would like to change powercenter.net into a virtual domain.  What is the
best way to move this mailing list over?  Can I just move the
/home/joe/.qmail-* files to
/home/vpopmail/domains/powercenter.net/joe/?  Do I have to change their
ownership/permissions?  I hope I don't have to create a new list.
