plaintex password in vpasswd file

Hmm...

Seems that if you create the domain with vadddomain -a somedomain
the password for created users does not get encrypted in
~vpopmail/domains/somedomain/vpasswd

This seems to break sqwebmail's authvchkpw module.

Can it be fixed?

It would seem more logical to change vpopmail to crypt the apop pass
before storing it in vpasswd the way it does for POP, but easier to change
the authvchkpw module to try plaintext before it tries it crypted :-)
