vpopmail account | external program

Hi, I am trying to setup a trouble ticket system that requires an e-mail address that pipes its messages to a program.  I'm having problems figuring out how exactly I would do this with a vpopmail account.  Could somebody point me in the right direction?   Thanks,   Eli Katzenmeyer
