Thanks to Paul and Claudio for helpin me with my earlier file persmissions troubles.
Most everything needed to be chmod 700, and that took care of the problem.
I noticed that for about 2 weeks now, the default vhost on my server is not able to
receive mail:

At first I thought it was the permissions thing again, but all the permissions and
directories seem to be in place just fine.
As far as I can tell, the Maildir is in the right place:
/home/vpopmail/domains/thedefaultdomainname.com/postmaster/Maildir
just like all the rest are in
/home/vpopmail/domains/example.com/postmaster/Maildir
But since all the other domains are woking, I am begining to think it has something to
do with the maildir that is being looked for is something different. I thought it got
the Maildir variable from the .qmail-defalt file, but it seems to be correct to.
How can I tell what directory it is unable to change to when it is giving me the
"Unable_to_chdir_to_maildir" error?
