Hello, I'm not quite sure whether my question is offtopic to the content of this list, so sorry for my offtopic.
I'm running vpopmail with qmail and it works fine, but qmail smtp has no SMTP Authentification. There is a patch on http://www.nimh.org which enables SMTP AUTH for qmail. The patch needs a password tool, can I use /home/vpopmail/bin/chkpw for the SMTP-Authentification, or is the checkpassword programm required? (http://cr.yp.to/checkpwd.html) Best regards, Roland
