I have started a speed testing suite. I took the Servlets that Maciek wrote,
cleaned up up a bit, packaged everything (the current version of WM and the
CVS version of Velocity) up with Tomcat and a nice little Ant based build
system.
You will need to provide your own version of ab. I tried to do testing
against WM and I couldn't get it to finish. ab kept core dumping. The tests
against Velocity (i tested -n 1000 -c 50) didn't have any problems.
