I want to start doing the 'mechanicals' and site update for the 1.0
release today, a day early. This would just be making the new zip/tgz,
update the site, tag the CVS, etc. The grunt stuff.
It is a day early, but because of the pre-release of the article on the
sun site last friday, I think it would be nice that we are there and
ready come monday morning when people show up for work.
We can do all of the PR stuff tomorrow (so it isn't dated april 1 :)
If there is no opposition, I will get started.
