Configuration stuff

I have been staring at Avalon's configuration stuff.

Nice abstractions, and it could also be implemented 
with properties (already is with XML).

Does anyone here know the interfaces at 
  org.apache.avalon.configuration?

Aren't these reusable here in the future?
