I'd avoid copying the struts taglib interface, also. There are functionalities
in jsp that would be hard and superfluous to mimic (e.g. the essentially
nesting character of the jsp tags). On the other hand, taglibs will be purged
out of struts in favor of the standard jsp library. So, building 'native'
velocity-struts view support and documenting the paralellisms (in some howto
manner) can really be a better idea.
