Now _that's_ a relevant point, imho :-)  

Of course these suggestions need to be evaluated on a case by case basis and
not dismissed right away with references to usecases that don't benefit from
the feature, while there are many that would ... I am all for k.i.s.s. - as
for this particular case, I for one don't really care either way :-)
