Hi, I'd like to make a few changes to the web site & docs to make it a bit easier to get started. Any comments on these items?
(1) Duplicate the category "Docs" into "Docs - Release 1.4" and "Docs - Dev 1.5". It's confusing that all the online docs refer to the latest version in source control while most people download the latest version 1.4. This is particularly a problem with the map literals. (2) Move "TODO" to the Wiki for easier community access. And update it to reflect more recent discussion. (according to SVN, this list is almost 4 years old). (3) Move "Contributors" to the Wiki for easier community access. Explicitly list the names of committers. Move all people who haven't contributed in 3 years to Emeritus status. This will make it easier for the community to understand who is actively involved. (4) Remove "Specification" from the menu. This looks about 3 years old and is out of date. I've never heard anyone mention it, and (despite reading "This will be updated soon) it seems unlikely to be fixed. (5) Add a short section about "Building a Web Application" to the "Getting Started" page. (with links to Velocity Tools). This deserves to be highlighted. Let me know if I'm stepping on anybody's toes here, particularly with #3. Best, WILL
