I've added details to the wiki of a small "feed tool", built on the Rome API (https://rome.dev.java.net/). This tool aims to provide template designers with the ability to retrieve RSS and Atom feeds from within templates and subsequently output data from/about them in various ways. It consists of a simple tool class + a wrapper class Again, this tool is far from polished and complete ... and many different methods could be added to the wrapper class for feed manipulation - I've barely scratched the surface of this so far.
