*Title : QA Analyst (Manual Testing)* *Location : Conshohocken, PA* *Duration : 6+ months (Long term) * *Start: As soon as possible* *Interview : Phone/Skype Interview* *Position Description: * The Quality Assurance (QA) Analyst’s role is to gather and analyze data in support of business and functional requirements of proposed projects to develop test plans, test cases, test scripts and defect tracking reports for a product development in Information technology. The role of this position includes executing the testing processes and document the test results and collaborate with development team to resolve the identified defects to deliver a quality product. For the first 2 to 3 months, this position will focus mostly on documenting test cases. *Required Skills: * Solid experience documenting test cases Excellent written communication skills Database testing (back end) in Microsoft SQL Server – working with test data, validating stored procs, jobs, triggers and replication Experience in a structured QA environment with specific processes and methodologies Basic knowledge of JMeter Willingness and interest in learning test automation *Bonus Skills: * Any experience with API testing or SOAP UI Any hands-on experience with JMeter Hands-on experience doing manual testing of mobile apps *General Comments* *Additional Notes: * This role will grow and develop over time. The first few months will be documenting test cases. Then it will move into more of the regular back-end testing. Then the position will begin to learn test automation with JMeter and SOAP UI and get into mobile app testing.
