*MODE OF INTERVIEW: Phone then Skype* *Duration:6 Months Contract* *Location: Lincolnshire, IL Duration: 6 month contract (Must be USC or GC)* Must Have: - Knowledge of enterprise architecture - 1 year of architecture experience in a Java environment - Ability to gather requirements from the Business and come up with technical and conceptual designs - Knowledge of enterprise service bus (ESB), DataPower, or WebSphere - Someone who can manage integration points across many systems/communicate with business users to understand requirements/communicate with technical teams - Excellent communication, sharp, professional Day to day: This person will be backfilling who recently left. They need a Technical Development Lead in the Marketing Technology area working on systems such as Loyalty and Customer Service applications. The ideal candidate should have some Loyalty/Retail application experience, working with Java based applications. They should have been a true Business Systems Analyst, gathering requirements from the business across the Loyalty and Customer service application area, and will translate those requirements to analysts and other technical teams. This is NOT a Project Management position. They are currently working within the Waterfall methodology but may move to Agile eventually, so it would be beneficial if this candidate has experience with both. They will work through the SDLC, understand business requirements, find out what reporting needs to be done from the project, and walk through the process to understand if the conceptual design and technical designs meet the business requirements, and then they’ll hand that off to the build teams to do the work. Then, they will focus on the testing requirements, makes sure the data is prepared for the testing, and makes sure the teams are engaged to execute the scripts being generated by the QA teams.
