procedures related to nurses verifying tip placement on PICC lines that you
could send to me?

For those of you on PICC teams:
Do you charge for placement (other than supplies)?
Do you read the x-ray report? If so, does a radiologist confirm reading
prior to use?
Do you take/store a picture from ultrasound? Can it be downloaded into
PACS?
Do you charge for ultrasound use?
Who gets patient consent? Do you include "to be preformed by..."?
Who are the post insertion orders by (the ordering MD, the radiologist who
reads x-ray)?
What hours do you cover?
Do you have on call, weekend, or holiday coverage?
What information do you monitor ie: infection rates, complications,
etc?
Do you continue to follow this information after discharge?
I have Bard's information but am looking for any additional information or
helpful hints.
