We label our medications on the sterile field by placing a sterile
marking pen and sterile labels on the field as we set up. Then as we
are drawing up the NS and Lido, those syringes are labeled according
to 2006 safety goals (med, concentration, time and initials). When I
had talked with our Bard rep a couple of months ago about this need, I
was told Bard has been working on a solution for this and will be
incorporating it in the PICC trays.
