While I am not an expert on the Invision Plus connector I did speak about this and other connector technology at the recent AVA conference.  InVision-Plus is the only neutral displacement connector on the market.  the unique design provides no reflux on either connection or disconnection.  All other connectors have some reflux on disconnection (split septum) or connection (positive pressure).   In addition It was designed to protect the fluid pathway.  The bug glow tests that martha mentions are very visual when it comes to showing how thoroughly it can be cleaned.  The product has been in use for over one year and anecdotally has had wonderful reports.  Look for this next year for some published data to be presented.  It is a completely new product.  Designed completely differently.  Saline only, low occlusion rates and in some cases zero infection rates.  It is the new breakthrough design.

Hi group:
A question for those of you using this device:

Do you know for sure the rebound reflux that can be caused by certain syringes when they are 'bottomed out' at the end of the flush cycle is mitigated by this product design?

If you DO know that, how was it proven to you?

thanks
