I need the help of the list serve.
Do we have a national bench mark for PICC infections? I am having trouble
with our infection control department and how they are reporting infections. The
way they report it is if a patient has a BSI and they have a PICC line then it
is "PICC related" They don't come out and say it is the PICC, just
related. What are other areas doing about reporting of PICC
infections?
