pt had port on 5/11, accessed on the same day. has been bleeding around the needle since then (pt has bleeding disorder, on twice a day transfusion).
we put gauze around the needle to absorb the drainage and daily dressing change, only change the needle once a week. a daily dressing change is pretty hard on a 5 years old; also wonder if the practice is too frequent. any suggestion? __________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!?
