1. Presbyterian Hospital of Dallas
2. 800+
3. Magnet certified
4. 3 FT (1=40 hr, 2=32 hr) and 1 PRN
5. average per month = 120

We are not a "pure" PICC team. We also place all the feeding tubes

Subject: A Quick Survey re:PICC teams

If you are a member of a PICC team in a hospital, would you kindly let me
know a few things about your hospital and team.
1-Name of hospital
2-Number of beds-or average daily census-or admits per year 3-Magnet
hospital or not 4-Size of PICC team 5-Bedside insertion rate I am in the
process of finalizing a proposal to management to revamp or PICC process
and would like to be able to prove just how unacceptably poor our
current process is.
I thanks you in advance for your time.
David
