If you are a member of a PICC team in a hospital,would you kindly let me know a few things about your hospital and team. 1-Name of hospital MAINE MEDICAL CENTER, PORTLAND , MIANE 2-Number of beds-or average daily census-or admits per year 600 3-Magnet YES 4-Size of PICC team 2 INDIVIDUALS, M-F 60 HOURS OF COVERAGE. 5-Bedside insertion rate PLACE 1300/YEAR 98% SUCCESSFUL AT BEDSIDE WITH U/S AND MST I am in the process of finalizing a proposal to management to revamp or PICC process and would like to be able to prove just how unacceptably poor our current process is.
