would like to know if you use Synera for peds piv starts. was told the patch is expensive. pharmacy asks me to 'select' patient population. one selling point is the heat effect of the patch. but it's approved for >3 y.o.; how useful is that?
my question for the rep was: with vasodilation from the heat, a piv is able to be inserted into a otherwise small sized vein.
