In Las Vegas, the Doctor does the consent and the PICC Nurse does a time
out to assure
the patients knows what he signed for and understands the meaning of
PICC. The patient is
also given a booklet from the kit (for patients) to read and any
further questions are addressed at the 24 hour dressing change. Kathy
