In our hospital the PICC nurses get the consents signed because they are doing the procedure. This consent was blessed by our hospital attorneys. They have been doing this for years.

The inserter should be educating the patient and getting this signature, in my opinion, because we are the ones with the most knowledge of PICCs. ANYONE OUT THERE WITH A GOOD PICC/ CVD CONSENT?

PLEASE SEND WHAT YOU HAVE, I HAVE A 400 BED HOSPITAL AND I AM ALONE.....ANY PICC NURSES OUT THERE????
