Yes, indeed big changes are coming!  I'm switching the listserv to a website sometime within the next month.  I'm hoping the website will be an improvement over what we have now.  The website will include a forum (which will function much like the listserv), a calendar where venous related meetings, etc. will be, downloads, search function, links, announcements, and whatever else we can think of.

Please keep using the listserv until I announce the grand opening.  I could use your help though.  I'd like to have pictures: phlebitis, infltrations, picc malpositions, extravasations, whatever you might think others could use.  I'd also like documents: policies, procedures, permission documents, new employee check-offs, teaching materials, whatever.

If you have anything you'd like to contribue, I'd sure appreciate it.  Please send via e-mail attachment, fax, or snail-mail.  I'll need you to also send a note saying you grant permission to iv-therapy.net to post your materials.  I'm also hoping you'll help me send out the word.  We have many, many people who are interested in iv therapy who join the listserve but find they can't keep up with the load of e-mail.  I'm hoping this will fill their needs as well as ours.

I'd love to hear your comments, suggestions or any feedback on this move.  For a long time now I've wanted to extend the help we provide each other on "venous".  It's my hope that if our new website works well, I'll start setting up other sites for other specialties.  I truly hope this will be an improvement for all of us.

Thanks!
