Waste with blood draws form central lines. Has anyone heard of pushing the "wasted" blood back into the lines. I would think the risk for blood clots and the risk for infection would exclude this practice. Am I right....or am I right? Mind you I am not talking about a closed heparinized system like you sometimes see with arterial lines.........thoughts?
