Hello
all~
We are updating our
work instructions/ policies for iv therapy within our institution. Our pharmacy
has suggested that we use L-cysteine as opposed to hydrochloric acid for line
precipitate occlusions. Any evidence out there to support this change in the way
of studies, etc. Anyone out there with a policy they would be willing to share
with me? Any and all input is always appreciated. Thanks in
advance.
