Paul I have been a long supporter of BathGuard!  It is an excellent product, and I even 'trialed' it once when I had a cast on my arm.  I purposefully submerged my arm in a hot tub and it never leaked.  It was wonderful that I could shower and not spend the rest of the day feeling like I had a wet glove on.  The wet glove feeling was what I got when I tried to make a plastic bag work.  I don't see that Saran wrap would be much better.  I have recommended the BathGuard to many patients and they all LOVE it!!

It is manufactured by MedGuard Tel: 407-875-8022, or medguard.net;  I seem to remember being told by the owner that a patient can even go on-line and order a single unit.

I am glad I was still here to be able to tell you of this wonderful product!!

Have a great weekend!  It is gorgeous here!!

Subject: PICC protector

Listserve,

I am looking for a waterproof protector for a patient who has a PICC and wants to take a shower.  I know many people are recommending saran wrap, but I believe there are a couple of commercial products.  Can you provide me with information about any of these products?  Thanks, Paul
