Dear Paul-I had a PICC and the task of trying to get the saran wrap to go
around your arm is like a skit from the Three Stooges. What I found works
best is the wrapping stuff from a mail store or a hardware store. It has a
spool like extension--like the ones on kite string-- that makes it much
easier to wrap around your arm yourself. With saran wrap-I would have to
wait for my daughter to come over to take a shower. With this
stuff-I could do it myself--it looks like saran wrap-but these mail stores use
it to wrap things together to keep them from jiggling in the box. I'll
have to stop into a fed-ex outlet and see if they have this stuff-it works
great-and best of all it is much cheaper-over a year of IV Therapy and I only
bought two of those rolls for a total investment of $10.00-and I take
showers every day.I got mine at
Box Brothers-they are serviced by UPS-Kathy Mohn
