We follow the standards and do STERILE!
We do have some oncology offices doing clean. However, we also have some ports removed due to infection, from those offices that do clean technique. I often wonder if they catch that they are part of the problem. I try to provide them feedback on those cases.

When accessing implanted ports, what is the current procedure nowadays? Sterile or "clean"? please share with us your procedure. We understand we are in the dark ages because we still do it as a sterile procedure? We need to have dialog
with our manager.Thank you!
