We have never treated cephalic
clots. It is a superficial vein and often times gets clotted from
peripheral IV's. We don' even treat basilic clots, only brachials. I
would think that since the basilic is healthy and if the brachials are patent,
that you would be fine to leave it. Any edema in the
extremity?
