My RT just left with my Newport HT-50. She did two calibrations. Both failed. I received a device failure message yesterday. My RT is afraid for me to sleep with the Newport so she took it so she can ship it back to Newport. That means that my whole world changes now. I do not have any ventilatory support except while I'm in bed & that means I will be forced to go to bed approx every two hrs during the day. My husband is having much problems just now. I must be ready to care for him & that is the only way. I can NOT lift the LP10 so my independence is gone until........
I will be checking into getting orders for a back up vent for my wheel chair. It's too late for that today. And anyway, I have to go to bed NOW .
I'm screaming in my head!!! Oh how I'd like to have the breath to scream out loud!!! :(((
