Right. The problem is: the application is monitored by the application owner. We want to get alerts if anything fails though, EXCEPT for those applications. Since it's a cluster used by many people, the mucking around would be quite extensive, excluding some application resources from our monitoring. Since we want to start up the resources when a group goes online or when it fails over, this is as it seems a non-trivial issue.
