I have a repository set up that has 2 externals definitions on our
trunk directory.

Today a brand new user was setting up with Versions and checking out
our repository for the first time. When it got around to the
externals it just failed with a 500 Internal Server error.

When I dropped into Terminal to investigate, I ran svn up on trunk and
it correctly prompted for authentication. Everything was fine after
that.

Versions should be able to handle externals that require
authentication. If it makes a difference, the repository is being run
over HTTPS, and the externals are both from another repository that
runs over HTTP.
