The repository is hosted on Windows 2003 Server via VisualSVN. To my knowledge there are no permissions problems on that end.
I'm trying to keep the working copy on a LAMP machine that's mounted via Samba. The Samba user has write permissions for the directory that I'm trying the create the working copy in. I'm using Versions to check out the repository. I'm fairly sure it's a permissions problem on the LAMP machine, but I don't know exactly what versions is attempting to do on that machine.
