I've downloaded, compiled and installed... but the problem persists.Let's say we have a collection of data points and do a fitting. It seems that the "Min. fit. range" and "Max. fit. range" are only affecting the limits of the fitting line displayed in the graphic.
Ticking "Fit only range", also in the Fit function panel is retrieving the values from the range set up above, in the axis panels (x or y, depending on what you are using).
