I just read ALL of the posts, it was like having a thunderstorm roll  
in!  But now all has calmed down again, the sun is shining and I see  
beautiful birds.... (check out Byard's pictures, they are remarkable).

Actually, I want to post another fishing report.  Yesterday I had a  
LASIK adjustment, and while I don't know yet if the vision correction  
worked (distance vision is a little blurry) , I do know that my eyes  
FEEL remarkably normal in spite of being sliced and burned yesterday.   
So instead of spending the second day in a dark basement applying eye  
drops,  I went fishing!  The Weber again, and although the fishing  
wasn't as fast as the last two trips, it was satisfying and included  
the usual cast of characters and some stretches of the river that I  
have never fished before.  I added a few more pictures from today's  
catch to the previous ones posted, including one of an ugly fat  
whitefish typical of the ones I have been catching,  plus a couple
