Like Tony, I use a metal straight edge & a razor knife. I used to have the same problem w/ the glue, or some of them would dissolve the foam. I started using the crafters glue that the gf had & haven’t had a problem since. Plus, it stays more flexible.

I have tried to cut with both scalpel and razor blade, but they often manage to compress the foam making the side angled. Finnish guys can be rather rough and coming there with a Swedish hopper and a Norwegian hopper but not a Finnish hopper, might put them off... so if I don't want to return home having a tan in the same colors as our own flag (blue and yellow), I thought I'd better have a new one with me this time.
