Peg, thankx for the email and the note at my site.......Misa wanted me to let
you know thankx too. As you know, the CFFC&M changes that one exhibit every
year to the flies, rods, etc., etc., etc. from a different country. This year
it's Japan and Misa was very instrumental in helping to procure most of the
display "items." Most all that "Stuff" was sent here first, and then we dealt
with it and sent it on to the Museum. We did get a chance to see the exhibit in
it's VERY early stages back in late Nov. when we were last there. Btw, there's
gonna be a special demonstration of Japanese Tenkara fly fishing at the CFFC&M
and on the rivers to be filmed for Japanese T.V. or somethin' or other......in
early May......that's why we have to ba back there by the 9th. i have to do
airport runs to get all these so and so's up to Roscoe, with their crews, etc.
Then the CFFC&M is havin' a big celebration of the Japanese exhibit on the
annual hoop-lah weekend at the end of may like every year.....same weekend the
annual CFFC&M Dinner/Fund Raiser is every year. You know.........gonna be just
like old times.........seems we can never really leave the Catskills. We were
doin' a show in Missouri the same day all you guys were doin' this year's
annual CFTG Rondezvous........naturally we were thinkin' bout all of you and
how we've only done three out of the 9 CFTG Rondezvous there's been now. Almost
makes me wish we weren't in Idaho Falls some of those
years....................but NAHHHHHH, lmao. I guess everyone got to see the
exhibit at the Reception over at the CFFC&M after the Rondezvous.........lol.
Well, we'll be back on the 9th of May.....see you sometime in May or June or
July i hope. You should think bout commin' out to Loveland, Colorado in late
July for the FFF International Conclave.......Leslie will be there. Her and
Misa are teachin' a class together....on tyin' and fishin' the Czech Nymph.
Gotta go, Misa says dinner is ready. Later, mark.....

I spent two weeks fishing Alaska, one off the highway on the way to Denali, the
other on the Kenai peninsular, where are you going? I have all my notes and
fly lists, maps, connections with several folks who live and fly fish the state.
We rented a motorhome for the trip, had 9 adults on board the two rigs, and we
all caught more fish than we could count! I'm willing to share, it's a great
state and if it wasn't so darn cold and dark in the winter I could handle
staying up there.
