There is an article in the latest "American Angler" magazine on fly rod action
. July/Aug 2009 issue Quotes for the next few days from that
"The fly-rod industry hasn't made an effort to create a more accurate
definition of 'action'... (but) even if you came up with a standard for action,
it wouldn't tell you what a rod felt like."
