Well, just about everyone who ordered DVDs should have them by now (two in route), and most have had at least a week to view and try out the techniques- either for the 1st time, improvement , or extension of the technique.
Would like to get some comments: a.. Your thoughts on the DVD and ease of transition into tying- b.. Your first tries at rope-dubbing- c.. Your re-tries (re-ties) at rope-dubbing and the extensions- d.. Your overall opinion of the results you're getting: ease of adaptation, speed, dubbing results, fun, etc. If you're having a problem, go ahead and bring it out. Don't be shy. I spent an entire afternoon at a fly-show with a 25 year veteran professional tier/guide coaching him on getting a perfect rope-dubbed dry fly body.
