Linesend.com still comes up, but Byard isn't actively running the operation any more. It's probably all still there (home business), but he's off and doing other things he enjoys. One of them is glide-suit flying. I told him to fly over Antartica and get me an EP pelt.
Two major changes for the VFB group (amongst others): 1. With Googlegroups, the size limit of posts is much larger than 4KB, permitting posting photographs. 2. The 'competition factor' with Line's End is not there (at the moment), so posts about competitive offerings are not banned. Commercialism is still not allowed, and I got Byard's OK to sell the DVD's. I first offered them to him to sell on the VFB site, which he declined, and then sent him a comp. DVD. I communicated with him via Facebook, where he's still active, but doesn't reply very often. So: If someone needs something, leads to sources are legitimate. If anyone wants to join a co-op swap, someone is going to have to meister it.
