I want to try the glide thang myself, but I can barely afford to fish. Not
too many good mountains to fly around in Central Illinois either.

It's a real shame that Byard has lost interest in VFB and presumably in fly
fishing as other interests such as bird photography and now glide-suit
flying appeal to him more.

I remember and enjoyed those huge caddis swaps that he organized (except
one). He seemed to lose interest after Murph died suddenly.

I think that they were fairly close friends. The Co-op swaps were also good
and useful sources of excellent materials.

I suspect business at Line's End is slow. I find the loss of interest a bit
stange as I have fished all my life and couldn't lose interest - Ever!
