Hello to all:
I have been away for a while, but am now back in force.
Despite not having touched a fly rod in over 6 months, I hope to
remedy that soon.
My brother is getting married on the 27th June in NY. I will be
travelling to the US on the 15th June and will be staying until the
14th July. He is getting married on a yacht (holds 230 guests so not
really a fishing punt!) in NY harbour. Whilst I will be
predominantly based in NY and Boston (I have been dying to fish
Stripers and Bluefish in Boston for years), I also hope to travel to
Arkansas to catch up with 'the boys'. Apparently I can drink
moonshine and tie some funny little burnt orange flies whilst shaving
away slivers of bamboo (yes...I know.....my dreams are quite tame).
If anyone is interested in catching up in or around (within reason or
a long bus ride) any of these locations, for a drink or a fishing
trip, please make contact. This trip has been a long time coming.
Despite a number of false calls, I have booked and paid for the
ticket. No going back now.
I look forward to catching up with as many of the group as possible.
