I, too, can hand whip finish,but for really small flies, I like the Matarelli or the end of my bodkin. I guess it is just what you get used to.
BTW: Don, sent the flies off this am. Watch for them..there's a return priority stamp and address label in the package, so, if you open the box carefully, you can even use the box. Let me know when they arrive.
