We got hit in C. Texas from 6-11 p.m. last night. Must have been 12-15
tornadoes sighted, in a six county area, but most didn't touch down or were in
open crop land.Thank God, there was little damage. No measurable rain, which
was sorely needed. Went out this morning and saw a bunch of downed limbs
throughout the neighborhood and a few uprooted trees. The tree services will
be busy for a while. Didn't see any roof damage, even with 60-70 mile an hour
wind gusts. Just north of us in the Bellmeade area there was baseball sized
hail. We luckedout on that too. No hail at all. The worst hit town was
Groesbeck which is 50 miles east of us. Tornado hit them, did a good bit of
damage, but few details have been reported so far.
