That is I visited with Shauna, Larry was snoozing the entire time. She is such a trooper, and faithful companion to Larry! Like most of us, he married above himself! Larry is improving daily and his color is improving as the new liver does its thing. I called today, and Larry answered the phone! It is obvious that talking requires great effort for him, and after about five minutes he told me he had to put the phone down because his arm is tired, but still it shows that Larry is fighting to get back as quickly as he can. It will be a long road yet, he has a lot of edema and his kidneys still need a jump start, so he will be on dialysis for a while, but the prognosis is very good. I hope to pop down and visit with him this evening, and will post more then. It probably is a little early for Larry to get a lot of phone calls, but when he says he feels ready and able to talk with you, I'll let you know. Larry said in our phone conversation that he wanted to get back on the computer as quick as he can, so don't be surprised to have him suddenly pop up in the posts.
