I talked to Dr. Tom about the craze and he basically that he's in the market to sell feathers, but has the intention of engineering feathers solely for fly-tying. He takes and fills orders, and long-time customers come first on his picking list. He upped his breeding/production to handle this 'fad', and that's all he thinks it is. He believes everything will go back to normal and things will be they way they were before.
