I don't know if names are required in these requests, but I'll leave it out for privacy reasons and try anyway.
A guy from Sweden, one of our more well known guys in the business, once wrote a book that was used in the fly-tying class I took somewhere in my earlier teens. Kind of "started me off". About twentyfive years later I tied with him at a fair and since then we have been really good friends. Today he's fighting leucemia. After some reading I know that quite a few with leucemia win these fights today. I am really worried though as I have already lost two friends in this fight. This was however while I was in school (only a couple of years after taking this fly-tying class). So the statistics they faced maybe looked different and much has happened since. I don't know what type of leucemia he has, or how far gone it is. Maybe I worry too much. But either way, a few prayers can't really hurt. /Nick -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the "VFB Mail" group.
