Still here and glad to see other IOFF'ers are too. Been way too hot to do any fishing. Waco set a new record of 100 + temperatures - 55 straight days, then dropped into the nineties for a couple days and now back to 100+ . One usually gets cabin fever only when it's too cold to go outside. Ours is Cabin Fever too, but on the high end of the thermometer. Been too hot to fish, golf, etc. If I'm going
to do anything outside, have to do it before 11 a.m

Our lakes are 10-15 feet low and one out in west Texas is as dry as a bone.
I've seen pics of 10 pound bass lying on the shore - dead as a door nail. Stock tanks are going dry. Hay is scarce. Ha prices are through the roof. My S-I-L
has been looking for hay for over a month. Sold 140 of his Black Angus and
kept 60. Finally found some good hay and just bought 35 big rounds at $100
per bale. Yep, you read it right $3500. He's hoping to make it to the fall rains or he'll have to sell out completely. Many ranchers are in the same boat.
I've got enough hay to get my Longhorn Steer Calico to mid-November. Shurely
the fall rains will be here by then and the pastures will green out again. The last
hay I bought was $7.95 a bale and that's the little square bales.

We are all praying for rain
